My grandfather was born into a rich family in Mainland China. His parents pampered him, giving everything he asked for. The WarⅡwas ended in 1945, my grandfather borrowed a large sum of money from his parents. He said that he wanted to do business in Taiwan. In fact, he wanted to take a trip to Taiwan.

His family sent a letter to him, after he arrived in Taiwan for three months. In the letter, his mother told him that KMT was defeated. And the Communist Party pushed into their hometown. In the end of the letter, his mother wrote,” Don’t come back Mainland China”. Since then, my grandfather had lived in Keelung until he died. Luckily, he had been to his hometown to visit his siblings before he died, but his parents had died for years before he came to his hometown.

My grandfather died in 1990, the same year when I was born. So the story was told by my father. A civil war actually separated people across the Taiwan Strait. My grandfather is an evidence for brutal wars.

  Rainy days in Keelung always make a strong impression on visitors. Not only wet weather but also historical monuments are her characters. Mountains embraces this city, which contributes to the different cultures form other cities in Taiwan.

  Keelung is a maritime harbor. Therefore, once you come to Keelung, eating delicious seafood and taking a trip to the fishing port are a must. The abundant marine resources connect with the development of Keelung closely. Miow Kou is another choice to visit which is a landmark in Keelung. Many travelers and local people go shopping or taste unique foods, like stewed minced pork served over rice, butter crab, fried noodles, etc. If you like a lively place, Miow Kou is also the most crowded place in Keelung.

   I have special attachment to my hometown, Keelung. I like her appearance, which is full of variety. I like her historical monuments, Mountains and harbor. She is so kind that I want to live with her forever.

Because I get up early, I always doze off in the morning. I don’t want to waste time to sleep at school. But I am so tired that I couldn’t study well. Therefore, I found a good method. I borrowed some novels like science fiction. After reading, I was vigorous. In the photo, I was reading” SPIN” written by Robert Charles Wilson. ”SPIN” is an outstanding science fiction. In the English class last week. Mr. Chen was teaching English. Kevin, his student, was sleeping in Mr. Chen’s class because he played video game late the night before. In a moment, Kevin had a dream.

He dreamed that he would be a teacher standing in the same classroom, teaching English. But the content was boring. As a result, the majority of his pupils were dozening off. Kevin was so angry that he hit one desk in the classroom. He went nuts and shouted loudly to his pupils. All of his pupils were scared. The pupils were compelled to pay attention on the boring English lesson.

Suddenly, Mr. Chen ran into his dream. “Wake up!” he thundered. Kevin had already dreamed for twenty minutes. All of his classmates were laughing at him. Meanwhile, Kevin made up his mind that he would study hard in order to be a teacher.   

Today is Nick’s birthday. His parents decide to give him a surprise. When Nick opened his birthday gift, there was a puppy inside. Nick was so excided and called the puppy “Lucky”.

Nick took Lucky for a walk on Sunday afternoon. After a while, they were all tired. Nick and Lucky sat on the bench to take a break. Because Nick was so tired, he started to doze off. After half hours, Nick woke up and found Lucky missing. He was very anxious.

Nick was looking every corner in the park for Lucky. But it was in vain. Nick was very sad. He was very sad. He lost his new friend. He went home alone with misery. But when he arrived his house, he saw Lucky sitting on the stage. Lucky didn’t get lost. Nick burst into tears, and ran to Lucky.  

One afternoon, Nina played ball by herself. At that time, a kitty walked near her and wanted to play with her. Nina was so happy to have a new friend. She played with her new friend happily the whole afternoon.

Nina brought the kitty home in the dinner time. When Nina’s mother saw the kitty, she was irritated. She blamed Nina for beginning an cat home without her permission. But Nina insisted that she could take good care of the kitty. After the long quarrel. Nina’s mother finally gave in. She asked Nina to keep her promise and take charge of the kitty.

In the beginning. Nina kept her promise. She often took her kitty for a walk. However, as time passed by, Nina felt bored with the kitty. The kitty also became an old and fat cat, and gave birth to a lot of kitties. Every times Nina lead them out of the door. She get a headache.

Gradually, the kitties are out of control. They usually played together in Nina’s living room, and ruined all of the furniture. Nina decided to drive them out. Finally, her life went back to normal.

  He is a man with a funny face and always smiles to others. When you first meet him, you may feel that he is an arrogant genius. Thinking out the best solutions to the math problems is just a piece of cake for him. However, he is not only a teacher but also like my second father for me.

  ” As you sow, so shall you reap, ” is a proverb that he often told us. He has achieved a lot as a result of his hard work. He believed that studying is the only way to have a higher living standard. After I became his student, my math have made progress. I also become much more maturer. I really appreciate his guidence, and I wish I will be a great teacher in the future, too.

  Chih Chen Chang has already changed my life. He has led me to the right path and towerd my destination.

  One afternoon, Nina was cooking lunch, and her dog, Lucky was just sitting in the kitchen. A terrible thing will happen.

  Suddenly, A gorilla ran into the kitchen. Nina was so shock that the dishs fell down and was broken. Lucky didn’t protect Nina but immersed himself in the food. Nina was in danger.

  The gorilla bursted into laughing and took off the head. That is John! He gave a flower to Nina and said, ” Will you marry me?”. Both Nina and Lucky were in surprise. But Nina calmed down in jiffy. She said,” I want to be your wife for better or worse”. Finally, Nina and John become a happy couple. Lucky also had a new master.
